Emma Wisely is an illustrator based in Raleigh, North Carolina, who loves transforming simple concepts into detailed and imaginative stories. The work she creates is often a mix of reality and fantasy, full of life, color, and genuine human emotion. 

As a child, Emma could hardly resist scribbling on any available surface, to her parents' dismay. Over time, she channeled that same creative impulse into digital tools like Procreate, where her ideas could truly come to take shape. Today, Emma uses her love for storytelling and fictional characters to create illustrations that entice her audience to see glimpses of themselves, even if it is through utterly fantastical lenses.

Emma won first place in Wake Technical Community College’s People’s Choice Award virtual exhibition in 2023 and had two illustrations accepted into East Carolina University’s Undergrad exhibition in 2025. She will graduate with her BFA, with an emphasis in illustration, from East Carolina University in the spring of 2026.
